Mr Bernard Allard is the Head of Vascular Surgery at Western Health. He is a founding member and clinical lead in the establishment of the Diabetic Foot Service at Western Health and continues as a clinical lead.

Mr. Allard has an honorary appointment to the University of Melbourne teaching the vascular surgeons of tomorrow and medical students at clinical levels at Western Health. In the past has been on the executive of Post Fellowship Education and Training for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

He is experienced in a broad range of vascular conditions and vascular management including non-operative treatments. The demographic demands expertise in reno-vascular access, diabetic vascular complications as well as atherosclerotic disease management with peripheral angiography interventions and aneurysm repairs.
